Once upon a time ... - A little excursion into history

• In 1942 "Grandpa Hansl", born in Pfalzen near Bruneck, bought the Heisenhof. At that time "Heisen" was a farm. In 1948 my grandfather hosted the first guests from Vienna, and that gave me an idea. A youth hostel was built and in 1956 an inn.
• In 1967 my father Oswald and his wife Leni took over the country inn. At that time, a lot of the Heisenhof was being rebuilt, enlarged and modernized. In 1982 the á la carte operation was closed and only a youth pension continued.
• In 1997 my husband and I came to the Heisenhof and supported my father. And so we have been owners since 2000! We have built and renovated a lot in the past few years.
• In 2008 the youth guest house Heisenhof was transformed into a small but fine 3 *** family hotel.
• Due to the "standstill" in 2020/2021, we can also offer our guests apartments and a lift through further renovation measures.
